Tidewater Property Management should be on the bottom end of your totem pole when renting property. If that company manages it, run for the hills! I did not even get to the point of move in with these people. I went through the app process and was approved. They then required me to send 1st month rent and security deposit to take possession of the property. 3 days prior to move (relocating from another state)I receive a call saying the basement is flooded, carpet was pulled and dried, and padding removed, huge industrial fans put in. Can you say potential mold issue? No THANKS! All bets were off. I contacted to office to convey this with Asa Derocher. I let her know that I would require ALL monies be returned to me via overnight mail to continue relo to another property. She stated that it would be no problem, that she would check with one other person, and call me right back. I have not heard from her, and am now being sent directly to voicemail. Kim Curtis is also in on it, as she sent me the initial app approval email stating send the first month's rent over night. I've called her as well only to be pinned directly to voicemail. They have a shotty way of doing business. Had I read reviews and noticed that they received a 2.5 out of 5, because to give a Google review you MUST choose at least 1 star. I would have NEVER! I mean NEVER done business through them! I want my money!
