Called in to know more about a property (1204 41st Ave, Sacramento) and Mr. La Bella informed me a 3 bedrooms 1200sq. ft. condo is too small and won't work for a single mother with 3 children. I called back and informed Mr. La Bella the reason behind it. It's not too small to rent from other places, and could it be that Mr. La Bella would rather not have kids that can possibly damage the property? In any case, it is discriminatory to not let one apply for housing based on family status according to the Fair Housing Act. Mr. La Bella simply asked me to "stop looking for trouble" over the phone. I would suggest renters to look for better landlord options, and to not do business with Mr. La Bella.
