Mr Foster is well known in Yutan for over charging for his rentals. He's not particularly good at following up on things which need to be fixed, either. His excuse is that he has another job and no time to make the repairs. If he can't do it he should get someone to do it so renters are not inconvenienced. But he doesn't want to pay to have it done. He is also arrogant and insulting about other people's capabilities, assuming he is the only one capable of doing simple tasks. For instance, he told me he was going to paint the bedrooms in the rental I was in. Knowing he would take forever to get around to it (it took several months before he finally started), I offered to do it FREE OF CHARGE myself as I have done painting as a side job. He insisted I might not do it right (after all, he'd never seen my work), and when he did finally do the first room, he screwed it up by using paint which had been stored at the wrong temperature. The paint bubbled on the walls and looked horrible as a result. And he starts projects in inhabited rentals which are uneccessary to the unit's function. "Starts" being the operative word, as he will get things set up, put a dumpster in the driveway so you can't easily park or access the garage, then will ignore it and do nothing. He "worked" on his "project" at my rental a total of 2 days in the year I lived there. I gave notice once my lease was up.
