Would expect a not-for-profit Credit Union to take care of their employees and have a family work atmosphere, but the President of Texar Federal Credit Union, Kelly Mitchell does not care about the Credit Union's employees or their families. Has recently put loan officers on a commission schedule so that they cannot make even close to the same salary that they have in the past, forcing two employees (one with 20+ years and the other with 12+ years at Texar) to leave because they could not take that much of a pay cut. Other former employees have spoken about the dictatorial attitudes that Kelly and his direct reports have toward the Texar staff. If the Board of Directors cared for the Texar Employees they would clean house.
