Mr. Jones and Gulf Title handled the closing for my home. I was given clear title by the company during the closing. Upon paying my property taxes for the next year, I learned that there was taxes still owed by the previous owner. I payed them so that I could pay my current taxes. I recently sold a portion of the property, and the title search found that the common law wife of the previous owner was still on the deed from when I purchased the house. This is an indication of poor work or that no work was performed for the policy I purchased.
