Jared Hollinger and "Simply Homes" are gigantic assholes. They are nothing more than house flippers. The real problem with their house flipping are those who are affected. Our family moved into a house that was not "move-in ready." The representatives raved about how surprised they were that someone actually moved in so early. Now the are trying to sell the house and are jacking the price up $20,000 over the County Assessor's valuation. We don't have anywhere to go so we are scrambling to figure it out. We have three young children who are obviously top priority. These MFs are really bad to deal with. Don't waste your time or your future with them.

I contacted Homebuyers Inc. interested in discussing selling my home. I am a single mom who just wanted to downsize but can ill afford the time and money necessary to make my home sale ready. My first several calls got me a voicemail. ONE TIME I did reach Jarrod himself. I was asked for my name, phone number and address of property and told that after he did some checking on my home he would be in touch that same afternoon. I did not receive a call that afternoon or any afternoon following, it has now been 1 week since initial contact. I have done some more research on the type of service Jarrod offers and I realize perhaps I don't fit into the criteria he is looking for in a purchase. However, the common professional courtesy of a return phone call (especially since I left at least one other message asking for a response) would go a long way. I understand if Homebuyers Inc. isn't the right fit for my scenario, what I don't understand is being blown off altogether. Makes the business seem a little shady to me. And I would definitely NOT recommend him to anyone regardless of their situation.
