We rented a house ran by Desert Wide Properties for a little over 3 years. They weren't too tough on their rules, but loved sending certified letters that you had to pay for once you had a weed in your yard. Upon us finding a house to buy we gave our month notice and cleaned the house from top to bottom, had the yard professionally landscaped and the carpets professionally cleaned. When we received our estimate after the move out inspection, we saw that they were using our whole deposit we paid to replace a freezer shelf arm in the refrigerator that we didn't even use (we had our own) and charging us to provide a missing screen door (which never existed). In the end they were asking us to pay them more money on top of our deposit for things that we did not do. Trying to contact them is a nightmare. Debra Aidt is their manager and she will NEVER answer her phone and does not return phone calls and it is a rare day that she responds to an email. We are still dealing with this issue and it has been almost two months since we moved out. DO NOT RENT FROM DESERT WIDE PROPERTIES!!!
