Darren Wallace is not a good public defender for women, minorities, or the poor. He does not take the legal concerns of his clients seriously. I found him to be arrogant and pompous. He provided poor legal representation. If you can, hire a public defender who has your genuine interest/ concern regarding your case, shows respect towards his clients, and is not greedy for your money. If Darren Wallace ran for a political office, I definitely w not vote for him. Also, if you try to reach his office by phone, Darren-Wallace will tell his receptionist to screen the calls before they are answered. All calls go to voice mail and are not returned within a 24-48 hour time frame. This is very disappointing and unprofessional. Overall rating: F+ ( Failed due to lack of customer service)
